I have an ordinary vhs camcorder, when I record onto the vcr, how do I insert music from a tape? Yes it sound and is a stupid question to all of you but help me anyway.

use a soundmixer. Very cheap and available in any video camera store.

Be proud of what you dont know! Explain what you want to the guy in the shop and see what he offers. Ask him questions about it! If it doesnt do what you want, or he doesnt know, dont buy it.
Best way to learn is ask questions. Dont be afraid of looking like a twat, most people do anyway.
A sound mixer is a used for ensuring recording levels are correct. So that when you add the sound to the tape it isnt too loud and so fuzzy, or too quiet and so inaudible.
